About the Event
Take a field trip from Takoma to join Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner Char McCray (5D06) and W.S. Jenks & Son for a community cleanup on Sunday, April 12. Meet at Takoma Metro at 11 am to travel together or meet us there (cleanup begins at 12 pm at 845 Bladensburg Rd, NE).
All supplies are provided and community service hours offered.
After the cleanup, we’ll gather at Mother Rucker’s Subs to see their business in action and enjoy mini turkey subs, courtesy of the store, before traveling back to Takoma.
