About the Event
Take a field trip from Takoma to join Ward 8 Woods Conservancy and students from GW’s Environmental Justice Action Network for a Shepherd Parkway Community Cleanup on Saturday, April 11. Meet at Takoma Metro at 9:30 am to travel together via Metro or meet us at Shepherd Parkway in Ward 8 at 10:30 am. Gloves, tools, and community service hours provided.

After caring for the woods, we’ll gather for food and drinks at Sycamore & Oak, courtesy of our sponsors, and then travel back to Takoma via Metro.
